State Sinking in Red Ink!

Dear Mr. Editor.



The Friday banner headline; "State sinking in red ink" got me to thinking.



Here is what I thought;


If any citizen, or undocumented guest worker, sneak-in, terrorist or any other individual had the problem of being deep in debt, we would have to make changes in our lifestyle that would involve selling stuff to raise cash and not spending money we didn't have. We would have to 'cut back' and 'tighten our belt' and 'make-do' and 'live within our means' and not spend money we didn't have because the consequences would be our financial ruin and possible legal punishment.



I wonder what the State of California will do in the same situation?
